Help needed please...

We have the book, test and activity guide.

Why is it so hard to find all the online extras that are everywhere for Vol 1 & 2?

I know they are not necessary but that is how my ds learns. Things like a list of corresponding movies, BBC Horrible Histories, lapbooks, or anything else would be greatly appreciated!  Could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks! :)

Ds just received Woeful World War 2 (Horrible Histories) for his birthday.

We're using Poppies in the Field for a scrapbook style of WW1 history.

We're also watching Story of US, the sections on Civil War and the world wars (if any).

I agree, it seems most people are excited about SOTW 1 and 2 and have created lists of resources to go with them. I have had to find mine myself. American Girl has some good movies on the period. I'm having ds10 watch these.

When discussing the assassination of the Romanovs, we're watching the animated Anastasia, for instance. On the plus side, there are many pictures of these past events.

There are so many good movies and documentaries for this period and lots of historical fiction as well.  I know I'm looking forward to War Horse and various others.  I don't suppose anyone has done a list already?  For movies or documentaries or historical fiction read alouds?
