daijobu
One writing assignment is to research and write an essay about the Roman Emperor Octavius (p.121). Unfortunately we are having difficulty locating information about this person. We even have a book called, "Chronicle of the Roman Emperors" and he's not even listed there. Has anyone else worked through this assignment? Do you have tips for sources or alternative assignments?
Chrysalis Academy
Octavius/Octavian was the name of Augustus Caesar before he became Caesar, I'm pretty sure that's who he's referring to.

daijobu
Thanks for chiming in, LOL! I was starting to think I was the only person who doesn't know her Roman history. But can I really be blamed when someone goes and changes his name on me?
Chrysalis Academy
 Yeah, it was kind of an unfair question, right? Because once he became emperor and changed his name, he wasn't Octavius any more, so technically there actually was no "Roman Emperor Octavius," so I think it's MCT's bad, not yours!
