warneral
I needed some proclick supplies and came across this: http://www.mybinding.com/.sc/ms/dd/ee/4707/GBC-Proclick-Pronto-1-2-White-Cassettes-100pc-2515707 It is a very good price and I've been wanting some smaller than 5/8" spines. Has anyone ordered the cassettes before? I just did so if no-one has, I can reply when they arrive. It looks like (from the video) that it will be simple to detach them to use them manually
Tardis Girl
How did this turn out? It's a great price, but does it work to pull them out of the cassette and use them manually with the low-end ProClick? Thanks!
warneral
oh hi! I forgot to update this! It works fine. It takes a bit of time to slip off the little plastic connectors. You just slide them off! Then you can use them with the manual proclick process :)
warneral
note that they are skinny. I already had the biggest they make (5/8")and wanted some skinny ones too.
Tardis Girl
Thanks for the update! I just bought a proclick and got a 25ct of those 2 sizes -- which is ample for now while I get my feet wet with it and figure out what size(s) work best for my needs. So slipping off the little plastic connectors... does it just take a couple of second to "disconnect" one from bunch? You made it sound like it's easy, but it takes some time (of course, multiplied times 100 pieces, that makes sense!). Just curious for future reference. Thanks!
