dirty ethel rackham Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 My Galaxy SIII phone is set up to sync with my Google account and I am supposed to be able to enter events on my phone and see them on Google Calendar (which the entire family uses.) But, I can't seem to get these events to show up. It syncs fine the other way. I see events created on Calendar on the web just fine. I just don't see events created on my phone calendar. I am really annoyed because I really need to have these calendars sync properly. I never had this problem in the past. I have nearly missed several appointments because I am not seeing them until it is nearly too late. I recently got a new phone with a new carrier after US Cellular closed its doors in our market . I am wondering if that is part of it. I have gone through all of their help, but none of their suggestions makes a difference. I refuse to do the last suggestion because it they want me to wipe out the calendar on the phone and start over. I don't see how that will help since it will wipe out lots of appointments/meetings that I have made in the last month, which are precisely what I want to see. Any ideas? Maus Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 I had this problem ( just got an s3). make sure when you add it to your phone calendar that it's not going to "my calendar." it should be going to your Gmail address ( mine was going to my calendar by default and my Gmail address was second in the drop down list). Ali in OR Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 This happened to me when I had to change my Google password and didn't know to change it on my phone (dh is my tech support and he got it all set up for me when I got it--I didn't know how anything worked!)
