Tie Dye powder in mouth?

Ok so my dd(7) got a kids tie dye set for Christmas. It was one of those cheap kids ones from Walmart. For some reason dd thought it was a good idea to give the powder bottle to my 3 year old ds. He took the lid off and got a tiny bit of it in my 5 year old dd's mouth. I had her rinse and brush her tongue. I'm assuming that since it was for kids it is no big deal. I only have the bottle and the instruction paper and neither say anything about safety. What do you guys think? I'm having one of those days with the kids.

Here is a page with the Material Safety Data Sheets for a number of dyes - you probably have the MX Fiber Reactive ones. It was probably MX 308 Fuschia.

The MSDS says:

INGESTION Unlikely to be hazardous, if swallowed.

INGESTION No harmful effects expected. Give glass of water to drink. If gastrointestinal symptoms

develop, consult medical personnel.

If you ever have concerns about a chemical, Google for the MSDS for it. Every potentially bad chemical should have one.

ETA - Prochem (linked above) and Dharma Trading are both great places to purchase dye and supplies, should your kids continue to be interested. They are both long-time, honest companies who are clear about the potential risks of their products. Not only that, but they are often cheaper than your local big-box store, and they know much, much more about dyeing and are good at sharing what they know. :-)
