BrandonMommy
I already have the manual for pre-K and K and was wondering was the 1st grade one necessary . . . or what perhaps I'd miss if I didn't get it. Thanks.
3peasinapod
I never used it. I'm one who just wants to get handwriting done.
mskelly
Did you use the ones you had? I bought the PreK and K manuals, but I never used them so I didn't buy the 1 and 2 manuals. I don't miss them.
ByGrace3
I used the K manual a lot, but really never used the first grade. I think the K was great to introduce me to the program, but we did less"stuff" and more straightforward practice on wet dry try or the magna doodle thing and then just use the workbook for 1st. Jess4879
We never used them. I never took the time to compare the K and 1 books I had here, but I don't recall there being anything new or different introduced in the 1 book.
elizabeth rose
I used them with my first dd who is now a teen, but once the younger kids came along, I never look at them. the workbook itself shows how the letter is meant to be written. Melenie
I never bought them and did not miss them, we have done k-4th so far. If there was an activity that was not clear without the TM, I would skip it or make up our own thing.
