After Jacobs Algebra

Recommended Posts

I'm the one that posted about consumer math. But I think that math would be in an Alg 2 book. The student says she also did well with Jacobs Elem Alg (sorry I didn't say that in previous post; she's one of my new kids...). So, my question should be does anyone have something that worked well for a student who needs lots of verbal instructions following Jacobs Alg?

I found out online that Foerster's Alg and Trig is rec after Jacobs Alg. Has anyone used that? Does it have plenty of explanation like Jacobs?

Please help...

Sandy

Both of my older girls thought that Kinetic Books had the best explanations of any math program they ever used. My oldest used Jacobs for Algebra I. My middle dd started with Jacobs and Kinetic Books together and then dropped Jacobs because Kinetic Books worked better for her.

Unfortunately, Kinetic Books only goes through Algebra II right now, so my girls had to switch to other programs after that.

My youngest won't use any math program that is on the computer.
