Kari C in SC
So, I have been living under a rock because I have never heard of Landry Academy until a friend posted that her dd was there today. Anyway, now I have some questions. They are offering biology near us in September. My dd will just be starting a biology course around that time. Is it better to take the course and then do the intensive or the other way around? I am wondering because it seems there is a better discount if I wait and register for next year. Yes, I am that frugal! I am just not sure if she should do labs before or after or if it really matters. Thank you in advance!

abaent
Having just attended an extensive retreat with Landry staff, they say that it does not matter which way you do the intensives. Some kids take them before the class, others take it during and after the class. They go over everything a kid needs to complete the labs. It is much cheaper to buy the intensive or class ahead of time, but it is a very worthwhile experience. For what it is worth, they have B1G1 coupons at the mom retreats. They also offer specials around Christmas. August is the cheapest time to purchase classes.
