It's possible friends IRL are a bit embarrassed for you. I mean what you have gone through was made fairly public and you probably would have preferred it wasn't.

Maybe some were aware of it earlier and did nothing and feel guilty.

Again the embarrassment and guilt does not belong to you or them.

That's a given.

But sometimes knowing that, is not enough to change how you feel. That takes time.

When we were going through really rough times here I wanted to avoid people I knew, even though I knew they were supportive. But I just wanted to hide away and not have to 'be OK'. Maybe they are just offering you some space?

Hold your head up girl.

You have great worth. In yourself.
