Hey folks, it’s SALE time! We know that in mid-February, when it’s cold and bleak outside (yes, yes, Southern Hemisphere folks, we see you smirking. Your day will come!), and you’ve been “doing school” for months, and some things are working but lots of things aren’t, and you wonder if you’re actually de-educating your children, and you can’t play “run outside so Mommy can have five peaceful minutes in the bathroom PLEASE” for another six weeks (unless you want the little darlings to get frostbite)…it can feel like “Groundhog Day,” in which a character is stuck in endless repetition of the same dreary February day.

So we're doing our part to inspire you with a little Sale on inspiring (and fun) items: this Saturday through Monday, on our webstore, all our audio-lecture MP3’s will be $1 less; you’ll save $5 on The Well-Trained Mind or The Well-Educated Mind; Peace Hill Press coffee mugs will be $2 less, and tote bags will be $1 cheaper. We believe in you. The kids will be OK; you’ll be OK; and yes, Spring will come again.

Your link isn't taking me to the PHP site. I think you need to lose the www.

Bumping so I can easily find tomorrow...

ETA: Can anyone recommend an MP3? I'd don't have any yet. I know I've bookmarked threads in the past hat had suggestions, but I've lost a lot of my subscriptions.

All of the writing mp3s are excellent.

They are all really good. Homeschooling the Real Child, the one on working independently and The Joy of Classical education have prompted the most change at our house.

Thank you! I think I'll download a few. For that price, it seems like I can't go wrong.

Thanks, Julie! And even at full price, SOTW3 will chase away the mid-winter blues! Scientists have proven that 98% of people become happier when listening to the smooth, smooth voice of Jim Weiss...except when he's reading the chapter about the slave trade. That's just not a sunny chapter.

I attempted to click the "like" button.

I ended up getting Homeschooling the Real Child. I haven't listened to it yet, but I'm looking forward to an opportunity to do so. Thanks for the suggestion.

Near the beginning of the lecture, she has a little assignment for the listener. It would be good to have a pad of paper nearby. Also, I think that someone on the PHP website, there are workshop notes that have the slides she put up during the lecture.
