Wait. Aren’t satyrs, goat people?  Horse people would be centaurs.

Hmm, there seems to be a wealth of possibilities.

I was looking at wikipedia and saw this, "In Greek mythology, a satyr (UK: /ˈsætər/, US: /ˈstər/;[1]Greek: σάτυρος satyros,[2]pronounced [sátyros]) is the member of a troop of ithyphallic male companions of Dionysus; they usually have horse-like ears and tails, as well as permanent, exaggerated erections.[3] Early artistic representations sometimes include horse-like legs ...."

But you are correct (from Wikipedia again) that  "A centaur (/ˈsɛntɔːr, -tɑːr/; Greek: Κένταυρος, Kéntauros, Latin: centaurus), or occasionally hippocentaur, is a mythological creature with the upper body of a human and the lower body and legs of a horse.[1][2]"

Kareni
