luuknam
For those who've taught toddlers to read No Read-Alouds At All? That's a little harsh... toddlers/preschoolers still very much like to snuggle up with a parent to listen to a story (that said, I did push early reading so I wouldn't have to read aloud all.the.time). Kareni
Or wait. Is this like an art question? Personally I prefer still life paintings of fruit in a bowl myself, so I can see your issue. Still fleas would be unpleasant to view, and possibly terrifying if magnified enough. Last year I attended an art exhibit. Rather than use paint, the 'paintings' used dead flies. (I guess you'd call it mixed media.) The works were amazing albeit somewhat unsettling. Regards, Kareni
