Blessedmomofsix
We have been using Math U See for our boys, but they don't really like it to much. I've been thinking about either Math for a Living Education or The life of Fred. Can y'all share your thoughts with me. I like that the Math U See has DVDS to help explain things, but I don't like unhappy boys. Thanks. :confused1:

Blessedmomofsix
They are 9, 13 and 15. They say the are bored but also say they don't understand when they watch the dvd or when i tell them. It seems to take a while to grasp what they are tring to learn. Not so bad for my 9 year old but more for the older ones. I have a % yr old and a 3yr also. So I want to try to find some thing that make learning fun. Chevcking out tyhe web page, Thanks. Lara in Colo
Sounds like you might be interested in Teaching Textbooks. It is pricey, but has lots of review, doesn't go super fast, and my children seem to like it. Go on their website and do a sample lesson. It also grades the papers and gives the teacher the ability to have the student re-do certain parts of the lesson.
