swellmomma Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 A little girl from the dance studio my kids attend was in a major accident yesterday. She was sledding with her family in the provincial park, there is only 1 hill for sledding, and snowmobiles are not allowed there. Well this little girl was hit by a snowmobile. She was resucitated on the scene and taken to hospital, once the hospital got her stable she was airlifted to the children's hospital in the city. Yesterday she had reconstructive surgery on her eye and cheek. Once the swelling goes down she needs more surgery on her face. I have not heard about other injuries yet. news is being passed to us via the dance teacher as she gets it from other sources so not a whole lot of info going on. So what was supposed to be a fun family outting right before school started up again has become a nightmare for this family. Any and all prayers for her recovery would be appreciated. There has not been any updates since last night, and that one was about the fundraising the dance school is doing for them because the little girl will be in hospital for several months.
