katilac
Can anyone recommend an ipad app for keeping track of assignments? I mainly need the basics: class, date, assignment. I don't need grades and such. It would be nice to have a little room for explanation, and if it syncs to an iphone or itouch that's a bonus. But mainly I want to be able to enter dd's assignments and have her view them by date. I have Homeschool Tracker Plus, but it's overkill for this. Edited to add that it doesn't have to be free; I am happy to pay for a good app, Thanks!
Mabeline
I have Homeschool Helper on my iPad. It is a nice app and does a nice job with assignments. It doesn't sinc with iPods. HTH
katilac
Someone recc'd this on my cross post as well. I think I will give it a try. Lots of features for the price, and the itouch is really too small to view lessons on anyway (so it's fine that it doesn't sync). thank you! arborite
It sounds like a task manager (a powerful to-do list) would work fine. Remember the Milk is a good one that syncs across devices. You could use tags to categorize assignments into classes, you can set due dates, and you can include extensive notes.

I thought about that - I'm wondering if those generally have calendars or just due dates? More research must be done! ((and I do like the prettiness of homeschool helper, I will admit))
