Any clue why kindle fire HD keeps deleting content?

Last night it wiped ALL my books and docs off plus some of the apps, tonight it wiped most of the apps including Netflix and Hulu. I can't find anything online about it. Everything is still on my account when I go on Amazon.com on the computer but the kindle can't find it when I try to sync to redownload it.

I don't have a Kindle, but could it have something to do with parental controls? Are you in the right account on the Kindle?

Sounds like a software issue to me. I'd call Amazon if I were you and see what they say. Their customer service is typically very good.

 

FWIW, I also have a Kindle Fire HD and that has never happened. That's why I'm thinking it's a software thing.

Mine did the exact same thing - I called Amazon and the rep. asked if the time was correct on my kindle. It wasn't and he had me correct the time and it fixed the problem! Sounds crazy but it worked. I could see all my apps and books on amazon.com but when I tried to open them on my kindle they would disappear.
