Remudamom
I just ordered Bananagrams and saw something called Story Cubes? Any ideas?
Jane in NC
Things is a great game for a group of adults. I looked at Story Cubes in a game store and thought they would have been great in a homeschool!

Cinder
Depending on the size of your group Pit can be great fun. We've played it with about 8 people and it was loud and crazy.
LostSurprise
Pit is great for a large group with a short attention span or which includes people who are afraid of more complex games. It plays very fast. Balderdash is fun too. Dixit Wits and Wagers Faces For Sale Time's Up (Title Recall) Saboteur Bang! Werewolf

Chris in VA
Taboo, charades, and card games--Hearts, and Once (on-say). Once is kind of like Phase 10, but you play with regular decks of cards--2 decks for 6 people, 3 decks for more than that. Each round you collect something different. Rebel
The last adult-only party I was at, a group was playing Cards Against Humanity. It is full of hilarious inappropriateness and absolutely could not be played around children at all.
