If it helps, the course description that caught her eye included the following phrases: "Presents a survey of modern demographics, landscape modification, material and non-material culture, language, race and ethnicity, religion, politics and economic activities. Introduces the student to types and uses of maps."
I am strictly looking for cultural, not physical, geography. She has a decent background in physical geography, although map work would be good for her.

So you might want to look at the books used for AP Human Geography on the College Board website....or search the boards for Human Geography....

Regarding the DeBlij book - did you use the text and the study guide, or did you just work through the text?
