kfeusse
what company do you use for car insurance? Is it a big, well known compnay...or a small, not well known one? I am wanting to check to see if we have the best rate or not and I am not sure where to begin. Can someone here tell me? thanks.
Mommyof4ks
We use a big one, because I am more concerned with getting stuff fixed than getting the lowest price. We have made one claim in 14 years, and they were great. The one time we were hit the other driver had the same company, and again no issues getting back to 100%. hsbeth
We've always used Allstate for some of the reasons the AP stated. However, we recently added our first teen driver to the policy and were totally floored by the rate. We ended up switching to USAA (I believe you need to have been done some military service at one point or another). It's saving us a TON of money. Since we've only filed 1 claim in 16 years, I'm becoming more concerned about price vs cust. service. USAA is able to cover us for only $12 per month more than we were paying for Allstate with the SAME coverage level. Allstate was going to charge us over $100 per month extra to add our teen driver. Since she'll only have occassional use of one of our vehicles, I just couldn't stomach that.
GraciebytheBay
We use State Farm and have been very happy with their service. I will admit that I haven't shopped around for over 10 years because SF has proven themselves to be worth whatever we're paying. We have hit a deer, had an accident and totaled a car. All have been handled professionally, quickly, and have given us great customer service. We also have our life and homeowners insurance with them. Hey, they should be sending us a Christmas card for all that business!
