Mama Geek
OK, dd and I made the ornaments where you put drops of acrylic paint on the inside of the ball 3 days ago. The paint has yet to dry and runs down to the bottom of the ball. I used some craft acrylic inexpensive paint that I picked up at MIchaels, should I have used something else or do I just have to keep turning the balls for days? The paint colors have all run together and are turning into a gray color.
Cinder
When we did this we poured the paint in, swirled it around, then put the balls in a disposable container (paper cup or like) so the ball sits on the rim and the paint can drain into the cup. It will still take a couple days to dry. If you get any bare spots you can go back and add more paint afterward. ETA: the cheap paint is fine
Mama Geek
There was a lot of paint that settled to the bottom. It was more than a few bare spots. I can turn them upside down and drain them.
