Just bought dd one for the exact same reason, at Sears. Bought a size Small Misses, as you'll never find such a thing in Juniors. Misses petite is another good place to look if she's shorter - that's where I got dd her white concert blouse a few years back - but now her arms are longer than mine, so petites are out.

Here, it was this one.

Banana Republic has some nice feminine petite sized ones too but they are spendy. Also, when I need something like that I hit the local thrift and second hand stores and have always been able to find what I'm looking for at a great price. Odds are pretty good that someone has a black dress shirt they needed for a specific occasion and no longer needs. Or how about buying a nice, cheap white one and dying it black?

When I need something of quality I always hit the thrift shop first. *Way* higher quality than what's currently in the stores. And at $3.50 for a lady's top, very much in my price range. If no luck at the thrift, then I move on to other options. Ann Taylor comes to mind as the kind of store that would have that kind of "business" look.

I was just going to post the same thing---except I got Molly's at JC Penney. Forget about the Juniors department; no such animal there. I finally found them in the Misses "career" section. Molly is tall with long arms, so I went with a misses regular, but it sounds like maybe a misses petite would work for your dd?
