Difference between Ipod Touch and new Ipod Nano

I had read on a previous post that you can do almost everything you can on the new Ipod Nano that you can on an Ipod Touch. Could someone elaborate on this? Can you purchase apps for the 7th generation Ipod Nano? Any info would be appreciated.

Not sure about the apps, but iPod Touch has a camera and the Nano does not. Just one more difference to consider.

Size? A friend of ours just bought the new nano for exercise. It is narrower than my touch. The screen is small. I wouldn't use it like I do my touch. I have an old touch so mine doesn't have a camera either. I feel jipped. :)

The nano is great for exercising. It won't run apps. The touch is like an iPhone without the phone plan.

Apple's iPod Nano has taken many forms over the years, but this year's design is a whole new twist on the Nano concept. The iPod Nano is priced at $149 for 16GB and uses a 2.5-inch touch screen and a home button borrowed from the iPod Touch design.
