Bug's Mom Posted September 16, 2012 Share Posted September 16, 2012 We were at a children's authors & illustrators event today...one of our favorite events of the year...and they had some Civil War re-enactors there. They were set up in different tents where they would show you items from the era and explain how people lived. 3 times during the afternoon, they fired the cannon. We missed the first one (well, we HEARD it as we were in a building right next to it for a reading at the time) but saw the last two. Dd thought that it was so cool.
