staceyobu
I only have a b&w printer. How much would it cost to go to office max or use an online deal like mimeo and have them color print and spiral bind a years worth of math mammoth? Any suggestions on where to go? Mrs. Lilac
Check out mimeo.com and bestvaluecopy.com, they had the best prices I could find. It's still pricey :tongue_smilie:
wormbuy
We did this accidentally. I sent my husband in to have it printed, he did not tell them we wanted it in black and white, so they did it in color. He came out and told me the total, about $225 IIRC, and I had a cow. He went back in to complain and we got lucky because the person working was new and had not asked him if he wanted color or black and white, so we were given store credit. This was from office depot. These were printed and bound, last year.
ByGrace3
Bestvaluecopy.com was the cheapest I found.
Alessandra
If you have a lot of pdf workbooks, have you considered some kind of tablet? I just put all of ours on an iPad with Notabliity app. Dd can write in the answers. BTW, not my original idea -- a lot of people here do it. It could save you money in the long run. But, if you are printing, you might want to go to a specialist printer for a quote. Places like Staples have a b&w price and a color price -- they don't have a price for b&w with touches of color, like MM.

TengoFive
I haven't priced it myself, but our local high school has a print shop. They do printing and binding, etc. It may be fairly cheap.
momma2three
We just printed it out in B&W, and had no problem using it that way. Binding it was about $4.

I want to spend like $30 tops. :D If you have a lot of pdf workbooks, have you considered some kind of tablet? I just put all of ours on an iPad with Notabliity app. Dd can write in the answers. DH is just dying for me to give him an excuse to buy one... But, then he'll probably hog it. So, I'm not sure if that solves my MM color problem... Forget-Me-Not
I don't know the exact total, but I'm pretty sure I paid $20-25 to have one grade's worth printed and spiral bound at Kinko's. That was BW duplex printed, wire spiral binding, clear front cover, black plastic cover. Color was going to be *drastically* more expensive. Something like .15/sheet vs. .03/sheet. wormbuy
It was 1A and 1B only and it may have been one sided, I can't remember that for sure. I was expecting it to be about $30. I felt sick when DH told me how much it was, luckily though it was the result of a combination of errors and we got it refunded with a store gift card, which took a long time to use! Wabi Sabi
Do you have access to a printer? I just printed out the entire second grade year and it barely made a dent in the printer's ink cartridges. I chose to put it in a 3 ring binder, but you could just as easily print it yourself and take it to someplace like Staples to be bound. ByGrace3
IIRC I had Priced out a years worth in color through best value copy for $35 and that was in color spiral bound.
Plateau Mama
I printed mine for free at the library. I can get 75 b&w or 25 color copies per week per card. I have three cards so I can print 75 color copies a week. Took a few weeks but can't beat the price.

Plateau Mama
Ours is like $.25 a page b&w! You are lucky, Nicolepa! Wow! I didn't realize this wasn't common. I'm just bummed that I didn't learn about it until this year!
staceyobu
I don't think our library even has a copy machine!
sagira
$90.. Had it done at Office Depot, only one half year done. Now I just print at home (in color) and stick in binder. That was too pricey for me to do again..
