Gentlemommy
What would it be like? Would you want structured classes? Would you be ok with other moms teaching the courses, or would you look for professionals in the field? Would you want a location that houses lots of thing-books for reading, curriculum to check out/borrow, art supplies, science equipment, ect.- where you could go freely? Would you pay for the use of the space? If so, how much? What would be the most helpful things for you, as a HS mom, to have? What would be your maximum travel limit to go to such a place? How often would you want to go? What hours would you like for it to be open? :001_smile:

Lily_Grace
That's a hard question, mostly because my dream HS resource center would be in my home. I'd love a center that had dedicated teachers for different arts, and you get a one day a week schedule to take classes in all the extracurriculars for a flat fee. But for day to day, 3R homeschooling, give me a series of resources like Khan Academy, but for all the subjects. One link with videos and lessons and 24/7 tutors available for those of us living outside the normal time zones. Let me worry about the hands on and reinforcement and have that as a way to expose my child to people actually using those skills in their jobs and everyday life.
