thinking about a 1 day/week smoothie fast

What would you recommend if you were going to try a 1 day/week smoothie fast? I even have a particular day in mind. On Thursdays I'll be teaching a physics class in the morning and then tutoring in the afternoon. Having just smoothie that day will actually make it an easier day for me.

 

I don't like dairy in my smoothies. They just make it taste weird.

 

I am going for weightloss (hopefully).

 

The smoothie that I make every day right now is banana, cherries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and orange juice.

 

I have put spinach leaves in this and couldn't taste them. They did change the texture some, but it was still good.
