Bootsie
Has your child ever participated in an investments club? If so, what did you like or dislike about it? My 13 year old is interested in the financial markets and we are talking about the possibility of starting up an investment club. We are just in the brainstorming phase, so we would be interested in hearing any input or ideas.
Bang!Zoom!
Oh absolutely a good time! I've done this for nieces and nephews. They love buying stocks and then announcing in the various stores, "You know I own part of this place.." lol... Give your credit union a call, or a reputable investment house in the area that is interested in working with kids. Check your local library for appropriate at level books (and include above their heads also for challenge reading) - Beardstown ladies, etc. The reference librarian can probably pull together a guide for you as well as online resources.
