Does anyone know of a good suggested reading list for this time period (Creation to the Resurrection)? I want to add to the program for my dd. She reads well above grade level; however, I don't want material that is too mature. Thanks so much! kls126s Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 I just looked through the SOTW AG and the MOH book and compiled my own. The AG flags some books as IR (Independent Reader). If you need to check grade level you can sometimes see a suggested grade level on Amazon in the books description (near the statistic like page number, publisher etc.). There aren't as many goodies in the TQ guides for ancients, but if you know of someone who has them that you could borrow, you'll find a few books there worth getting. Really though, the VP catalog is awesome. There was a Promised Land Diaries series they sold in a prior catalog year that my dd enjoys. (I think it's oop now, but you could find it. Maybe too young? Don't know.) Just as a thought, she might also enjoy reading the Guerber books on ancients. And of course there are the SL core 6 books.
