Ancient History Reading List

I am doing MOH, volume 1 this coming year with my dc, 6th and K. Does anyone know of a good suggested reading list for this time period (Creation to the Resurrection)? I want to add to the program for my dd. She reads well above grade level; however, I don't want material that is too mature.

Thanks so much!

MOH has a list in the back, if you didn't already know that. I realize that you might be looking for more than what is there though, so ignore me if that is the case. :)

Thank you so much for pointing that out. I just recently purchased it at a used book sale, and hadn't noticed that yet.

Thanks for the other ideas as well!

Also get the VP (Veritas Press) catalog. There aren't as many goodies in the TQ guides for ancients, but if you know of someone who has them that you could borrow, you'll find a few books there worth getting. Really though, the VP catalog is awesome. There was a Promised Land Diaries series they sold in a prior catalog year that my dd enjoys. (I think it's oop now, but you could find it. Maybe too young? Don't know.)

Just as a thought, she might also enjoy reading the Guerber books on ancients. And of course there are the SL core 6 books. That's the kind of stuff I'm planning on having my dd read the next time around.

Wow! Thanks for the help. What a great list! I also have a Sonlight catalog and didn't even think to use it for a list. I'm not very familiar with them.

The people on this board are so helpful!
