I was looking at the Economics course which Sonlight now recommends and the Physics course specifically. Thanks ReneeR
Kelli in TN
Ladies,Have any of you used these courses? What high school grade are most geared towards? I was looking at the Economics course which Sonlight now recommends and the Physics course specifically. Thanks ReneeR We bought microeconomics last night, just before the group buy at Homeschool Buyer's Co-op ran out. You might wait a bit and see if there is another group buy. We saved a lot of money on the course.

But we haven't even looked at the first one to make sure we like it.
Denise in PA
My son used Dr. Edward Burger's College Algebra CD this past year from Thinkwell. Although Dr. Burger is a terrific, engaging professor of math my son found the lessons to be wanting. It seemed to us that a lot of material was covered before a test which made retention difficult for high school student. I recommend the math CD but only has supplement to another math curriculum. My son completed Paul Foerster's Algebra/Trig. Hope this is helpful. Denise
Melissa in CA
My son used Sonlight's Economics course this past year. He seemed to like it. The Thinkwell online tutorial was nice and included testing, which I liked for grading purposes. I was a little worried about the videos due to our being on dial-up internet, but we had no problems whatsoever.
