Guest MamaMycah
I have a soon to be Freshman who has completed (in earlier grades: Spelling Workout and Vocab from Roots -Latin and Greek). What should she do for this year? As my first high schooler, I'm not sure what or if she needs a formal vocab work? Thanks! Jean in Wisc
Vocab for the High School Student, Vocab for the College Bound Student, Joy of Vocab. If your child has already been doing vocabulary study, and if he is does not struggle in this area, I would skip Vocab for the High School Student. We do one or two books during the high school years. I like this program a lot. It is easy to use, and it covers a lot of words from different languages and words in different fields (medical for example). They are listed here. Click on Booklist and Book Information (on the book at the top), and then type in "Vocabulary" in the search. Jean
