KungFuPanda
The cherry blossoms are blooming (MD-DC-VA) and they stink! I have a VERY sensitive nose and I have NEVER noticed this before? What gives? Do they always smell funny? Did they attract stink bugs this year?
Remudamom
I don't know about cherry blossoms, but Bradford Pears are putrid.
Stages
We live near what's practically a forest of Bradford Pears. DD calls them stink trees.

AuntieM
Our pears smell like raw ground beef. Left on the counter for 6 hours. They're pretty, though! I just went out and took a sniff of the cherry. It smelled mild and slightly sweet, not at all like the pears. It's even prettier than they are, too. However, it has been raining for two days. Also, it's an ornamental cherry, we don't eat the fruit but the critters love it.
