Synge's "On the Shores of the Great Sea" and also Fifty Famous Stories Retold (that has a lot of ancients, but isn't exclusively ancient). SunnyDays Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 Okay, I don't want to follow kfamily's post, and I am totally printing off her list. :D However, one other title I wanted to mention was Story of the Ancients by H.A.
