Laura in MI
I'm kind of sad about it. I thought she be our first homeschool graduate. :( She planned on taking AP History classes through the ps, then there's tons of electives she wants to take. The classes are 72 minutes each. A lot of classes she wants to take are 2 class periods (144 minutes). Then she wants to eat lunch there. So I wouldn't be able to pick her up until about noon. She also wants to join the volleyball, basketball, and soccer team through the school +Softball outside of school. So she'll have sports year round and practice from 3-5 every weekday. Then during softball season 3x a week she'll have practice from 5:30 to 7 plus games. Realistically she cannot do Math, English, Science and/or any other electives in 3 hours. She's been struggling to keep up this year. She has to do Math after sports practice before dinner. I told her it's up to her. She loves homeschooling she says she fells so much smarter then everyone at the ps  She also says she loves way she learns through homeschooling (she's taken classes at the ps so she see's the difference) I think she'll end up going to ps.. I guess we can always after school right?
Mommyfaithe
I really wish our school would allow part time enrollment. I think it is a nice opportunity...and if it doewsn't work out, you can always homeschool again.:grouphug: Hope it works out well for you all....
