Manhattan_Mom
Hi all! I'm a total newbie and this may be totally nuts, but next week I will be planning my "summer camp" for my two boys 3.5 and just 2. The theme will be "timelines" here's my list of topics so far. The plan is to do lots of crafts and hands-on stuff, get library books and do fields trips surrounding each week's topic. Emphasis is FUN, learning is BYPRODUCT. Any criticisms or suggestions greatly appreciated! Month 1 - getting hands dirty with timelines Personal time line (birth, milestones, etc.) Family (interview grandparents - born in the '40s and '50) "House" timeline (our home was build in 1893) USA - (per-colonization, founding, major milestones) What do you think? Where could we go from here? Historical? Scientific? Inventions? Many thanks!
