5knights3maidens Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 Last night I was awakened by a massive inner thigh muscle cramp that went down my right leg. It no avail could I get it to go away. I got up and started to walk when I started to feel faint. I got on the bed but by this time, I started really feeling sick, all the while my leg was getting worse. I ended up on my dd's floor screaming, feeling extremely faint, hot, ready to throw up and go to the bathroom all over (which I never did). Dd called the ambulance (dh not home; working) and by the time they got here I was better. I have never ever experienced something like this before in my entire life. I would rather go through birthing my 8 children again than to go through this. I did go online and found a website where a lot of women said they experience/experienced this and it is horrible. This morning I have eaten 2 bananas, drank some water, going to juice some oranges, and I'm going out to get more calcium/magnesium (I ran out). Has anyone here ever gone through this??? Jean in Newcastle Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 I had something like this happen before, only I did end up having bad diarrhea with it as well. The doctor told me that there is a nerve (can't remember it's name) that if it is pinched off, can cause these kinds of parasympathetic reactions in the body.
