lynn
I have company coming and will be making chili with an assortment of toppings and napa salad for those who want something lighter. What dessert to serve? Brownies, lemon blossoms (lemon cupcakes), ice cream sundaes? Any other ideas.

Chris in VA
Peanut Butter cookies and ice cream. A friend in college always had pb sandwiches with her chili--it goes together surprisingly well!
Rosie Q
Ice cream sundaes sound good to me - that's a dessert that always goes over well when I make dinners for groups that include children. The kids love to add their own toppings! Also, the fat in the dairy products helps counteract the spiciness of the chili (if your chili is, in fact, spicy). Hope your dinner goes well! I'm heading to the store for ice cream after reading this thread . . . .

6packofun
With spicy, I always do a citrus or fruity type dessert. Lemon squares or lemon pie, sorbet w/berries, etc.
arghmatey
Something cool and tart--a key lime fool or a lemon fool would be the norm at our house.
