The Lord of the Rings audio?

Recommended Posts

What is the best audio recording for The Lord of the Rings?

If you'd like them unabridged, try the audiobooks narrated by Rob Inglis. We found Fellowship very engaging.

Not cheap though.

I prefer these to the Rob Inglis unabridged versions. IMO, the BBC is head and shoulders better than Mind's Eye, but either is better than the needs-to-go-blow-his-nose Mr. Inglis. :tongue_smilie: I know I am in the small minority in this view here on the boards, but I just.cannot.listen to Inglis read anything, especially my beloved LOTR.:001_smile:
