mindygz
I am trying to be logical and rational and tell myself it's just the first two days, and DH just started a new job (yesterday, in fact) so there is a lot of stress and general upheaval around here, but I am feeling not at all up to the task of schooling the kids this year. What do you when you feel overwhelmed and like everyone would be happier if you just sent them to school? Any inspirational thoughts or stories to share? AK_Mom4
Not so much inspirational, but I find it helps if I take an hour and just get my own act together. Lock myself in the bathroom with a hot bath and a good book. Then, make a short list (no more than 5 things max) of small things to do first. Nothing big - just little things like fold a basket of laundry or clean a sink. Small victories add up to large gains. One small step at a time.
