swellmomma Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 My ds7 is getting better everyday. This week he started being able to walk on his cast! The dr gave him a boot to start doing so 3 weeks ago but he couldn't do it. Everytime he tried he twisted his knee and it would swell up, or he would fall etc. Well this week he started being able to. On sunday I took the younger 2 kids to McD's when the olders were out with their dad. He was even able to play in the playland climbing through the tunnels and down the slides no problem. He loved hanging out in the petting zoo out our town fair. Here is a picture of him last Saturday at the petting zoo. We go back on sept 1st for another xray and hopefully to get the cast off. It is so filthy right now because he is not letting it slow him down, and he keeps telling me when it is off he wants to go sit in the bathtub for an hour.
