mom2agang
I have a pretty large school room appx. 350 sq ft with a slanted ceiling (12ft highest point ) I would like to paint it a light neutral grey. Would it make the room gloomy? We have long winters and I don't want to sit in a room that is blah. But grey looks so nice.
Chris in VA
Eww. LOL Not a grey person here. But a pretty sage-y green or grey-blue might work!
emcap
For me, it depends on the grey. Is your trim white? That also makes a difference to me, ours is wood and I could never do grey with it. A similar option would be a light neutral taupe. We just painted our living room and it is so soft, pretty, welcoming and calming. Can you tell I'm happy with the color choice? All that to say, if your trim is white and you can brighten it up with art, etc, I would totally go for a pretty grey! It can be so soothing
