WTMindy
Our city is basically closed down due to snow and they closed City Hall (where he works) and told all the "non-essential" government workers to stay home. He was very chagrined to find out that he was non-essential. ;) I told him he was essential to us. We are off to take a walk in our gorgeous snow with clear blue skies as a family. :D It is gorgeous!! The bummer is that they closed the public schools today and I work tomorrow! It would only be made better if *I* got a snowday too.

WTMindy
LOL!!! I guess I better be able to take typo-comments from you since I have teased you in the past! One of my first thoughts when I saw that we could edit our own posts was, "Oh but we'll miss all Laney's hillarious typos!!" :D
WTMCassandra
My DH and I used to work for the government back east, and I remembering finding that "non-essential" designation pretty hilarious. We are in Tri-Cities, and we got about 7 inches here, but on top of 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice, which is the bigger problem. That is huge for us, and we were home from church yesterday, and DH is working from home today. The children are thrilled beyond words to actually have snow in Tri-Cities. I gave them vacation from school today to play in it.
