Otter Posted June 6, 2011 Share Posted June 6, 2011 A funny quote from a novel my daughter just bought that completely explains why we go through so much trouble to teach our kids at home: For reference: The book is Stuck on Earth and is about an alien visiting Earth. This is from a report to his homeworld. During our extensive orbital monitoring, we observed that nearly all of the bad habits manifested by adult humans can be traced back to their early development and were acquired and reinforced during a twelve-year period of voluntary daily incarceration known as "school."
