nukeswife
After school was over today I went in search of earth day art projects, because we are supposed to do something for art tomorrow and my dd asked if we could make it something earth related. After searching I found a cute project where you use wax shavings, wax paper and an iron to make little earths to hang in the window. So yes, I sat in my kitchen with a manual pencil sharpener and shaved 15 of those fat kindergarten type crayons in blue, white, green and brown so we can do this project. Many of my family think I'm crazy, as my title states, I prefer to just think I'm dedicated. LOL PS for anyone thinking of trying this, the elmer's electric crayon sharpener doesn't work as well as a regular manual pencil sharpener, I tried it. I also found that doing this produces a lot of static and the shavings will stick to any and everything.

dhudson
Pure dedication. That's what I like to say anyway, especially since I have done those same crafts.
