Eleni Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Yesterday I found of a copy of the second SOTW at the library, so I checked it out. My 10 yr old saw it this morning, picked it up and thanked me for getting it. He said he was taking it to school with him to read during reading time because "school does not do a good job of teaching history" :lol: This mom's heart swelled up pretty big! I love how much this kid loves history. He was HS till this school year, and I'm glad to see he his love for learning still burns bright. Hockey Mom Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 I love those moments too. :) We had to stop doing SOTW1 mid-way this year because our school day was just so long. We plan on picking it up again for the summer. Yesterday, during 'free read' time, DS8 asked if he could read SOTW for his book. Of course, I let him. LOL Both boys love that book.
