Miss Marple
I was just reading on a "scholarship interview" site that one should always follow-up an interview with a "thank you for the interview" note.:001_unsure: We didn't do this and now I'm wondering if we should and whether it would be too late to send one. What do you all think?
Plaid Dad
I don't think it can hurt to send a note, even a bit late.
Miss Marple
OK, thanks for the encouragement. We sent one off.
Alice
I don't think it can hurt. But having been on committees that were interviewing prospective candidates we only really noticed when someone sent an odd note. For example, one guy sent a large picture of himself in a Speedo windsurfing with his dog. It got him noticed...but not as a good thing. I can't remember ever thinking "oh, no thank you note..this person is toast." :)
