MomOfOneFunOne
and I'm not kidding! Try wood chopping! I have an old ax that, to be honest, I have no idea why we own. I don't think we've ever chopped any wood with it. Over the winter, some logs have accumulated behind our fence. So, I watched some youtube vids and read some how-to sites. I got a whet stone and sharpened my ax. And then I started chopping. We had a tree cut down and I like chopping wood so much I had them leave it. Here is why it's so motivating: Every time I chop wood, my wood pile grows. It's definately a work out, fun, and I feel like I'm really provisioning. So, if you have a fire place or wood stove, grab an ax and have a good work out! I bet it's more fun than you think! And it's so No S. SamuraiMom
That's my husbands FIRST choice for a workout! He does it because we only have wood for heat, but he swears he loves it and it's the best workout there is. Me...I'll just stick with my Insanity and P90X. Glad you like it. I am intimidated by it to be honest, so you have my respect! Tara B
MomOfOneFunOne
I am not kidding when I say I was actually rather afraid of that ax in the beginning. It was easy and fun enough to sharpen but when it came time to wield the thing . . . I was nervous. It's just so gratifying, though, so I got over my fear pretty quickly. I bet it's cool to have a hunky hubby AND a burgeoning wood pile!
