helena
I'm not even sure I'm asking this question correctly! :D It seems like you're supposed to use 100x lens, but my microscope only goes up to 40x. I've got some mineral oil here, and we're itching to try it. Also, I don't have a fine focus on my microscope. So do I focus in at 10x, move the lens between 10 and 40, drop the oil, then click in at 40x? Can I clean it all up with my generic Home Training Tools "lens cleaner" and a soft cloth? Do I reach under and wipe the objective lens? I don't have any kimwipes. I really hope someone here can help me, I've been reading all afternoon, and watching youtube trying to figure this out. :bigear:
helena
Ah! I finally thought to call Home Training Tools, and they talked me through it. It feels so good to work through these blips. Woo Hoo!
