jabuford
We are doing History of US through Sonlight in 8th grade. I was wondering if anyone has found a curriculum to follow that. I don't want to start over with the same material that she has already learned and she needs american history for high school. Since 1945 is where the last book of History of US leaves us. Mom22ns
Um, if you do Sonlight Core 100 you will go all the way through the History of US series which ends about 1990. I don't see how you can do another year of US History without repeating. I would do something else for a year then come back to US.
EKS
I would do two years of world and then come back to US history in 11th grade.
naturelovinmama
I agree. We did US History in 8th grade, and now are doing the first year of World History in 9th grade, then will do another of World and then US.
bearnpurple
US History in 9th (We haven't done it since 1st have of 7th) American Government/Civics in 10th World History in 11th We are using BJU American Republic as a spine for US History. It is listed as 8th grade but content and activities could be listed as 9th. We are picking and choosing what we want to cover..... Not sure if this helps but good luck in your endeavor.....
