Which blogs inspire you to become a better homeschooler, try something new and/or push the limits of your own capabilities to teach?

I look at several blogs, but the two that are the most encouraging and challenging are from a fellow WTM board member, Anne

Handbook of Nature Study lots of nature study ideas put into practice

Harmony Art Mom art, music as well as real life musings on her adventure homeschooling older kids

Satori Smiles

Lots of great curriculum reviews for K and grade 1.

:iagree: Just coming here to post this. LOVE her site, her photos and her daughter's joy. I always wanted to PM her; this post gives me the opportunity to say, "You go girl!"

I also love Harmony Art Mom's various blogs.

There are a couple of homeschool math blogs, too. Math Mammoth Maria's blog http://homeschoolmath.blogspot.com/ and

http://letsplaymath.net/

Definitely seconding Practical Pages, Harmony Art Mom and Jimmie's Collage (as well as Jimmie's new one, www.notebookingfairy.blogspot.com) We use these three for inspiration all the time!

I also found that starting my own has held me accountable (very important since I have the attention span of a fruit fly, and we live in a province where I may need to prove that we actually do stuff) and it made me want to do more so that my blog wasn't too boring. Any feedback on what would make it better would be gratefully received, too...... www.theusualmayhem.blogspot.com

I like this one http://www.livelearnandlovetogether.blogspot.com/ She is a member here too.

:iagree: One of my most favorite blogs!

I also love Our Family for His Glory

I love blogs that encourage me spiritually on this homeschooling journey.

ETA: I also really enjoy Hope is the Word (member here!). She does a lot of book reviews, which is always fun. :)

Besides a few already mentioned, I was addicted to Higher Up and Further In for about a month when I first found it. Then there is her new blog, Charlotte Mason Help.

Hunt Classical Academy has provided inspiration.

Little Blue School is above anything my kids are doing right now, but I like to visit anyway.

I visit Parenting Beyond Belief (secular, obviously) occasionally. It's not a homeschooling blog, but deals with education from time to time.

I get my geek on at Geek Mom. Think Geek is not a blog at all, it's a store, but I couldn't resist adding it since they have some fun gadgets etc.

Long list, and sorry I added a few that weren't strictly homeschooling blogs. I got carried away!

I forgot to add A Little Rebellion which has also given food for thought

Love to read her blog! My oldest is ahead in some of her subjects like Satori so its great for me to be able to read a blog about how she helps encourage her kiddo's strengths/talents and the projects and fun stuff she adds in to her curriculum is just great (can't wait to make those trilobite cookies! :D)

You guys are making me blush! ;)

Thanks so much for the kind words. Blogging has been a surprise blessing in my life, and I love the friends I've made in the process!

I have to also say that I love Daisy's blog, Heather's blog (been missing her!), and Jennefer's blog. The blog of all blogs, in my opinion, is A Holy Experience - I love Ann's heart!

The link for notebooking fairy didn't work. Also, I checked out your blog. I have no suggestions, because I think I'm more of a blogging newbie than you, but I really liked it. I also left a comment on the copywork pages.

Thank you to those who mentioned my blog! I just love blogging and my main reason for doing it is to help others.

And yes, my blog domain expired yesterday, oops! I renewed it last night once I noticed so it should be back up now, although for some people it could take a day to see again.

This tells me that it was exactly two years ago yesterday that my blog went live. That day out of the blue I decided to try to homeschool, without telling my husband or parents. The blog was supposed to be the proof that homeschooling was a success for us. And it worked! I still absolutely love homeschooling, and every day I am so excited about our studies. I love making learning fun and love learning along with my daughter.

Thanks again to those of you who read, it's very inspiring to hear feedback like that. Also, thanks to everyone who takes the time to share your experiences with your own blog! I may not have time to read and comment on them all, but I do love dropping by and seeing how your families share your homeschool experiences.
