jld
Did you see the 60 Minutes segment a few weeks ago on quality control problems in GlaxoSmithKline's Puerto Rico plant? The wrong pills were put in the wrong bottles, and one little boy ended up getting diabetic pills that were much too strong for him. The company did end up paying a big fine, but it certainly has shaken my trust (even more) in pharmaceutical companies. Did anyone else see this? What did you think? RoughCollie
It scares me that we don't know where our medications and other products we ingest are manufactured or where the ingredients come from. I read somewhere reputable that a lot of vitamins sold in the U.S. are manufactured in China, and I don't trust the quality control there, among other factors. I don't trust it here, either. Too many recalls.
